Yhdistyksemme tekee aktiivisesti yhteistyötä Jyväskylän yliopiston ylioppilaskunnan (JYY) kanssa, joka lahjoittaakin suurimman osan Aurora Borealiksen Nepaliin lähettämistä varoista. Hankkeen rahoituksen lisäksi JYY tukee meitä monin tavoin, kuten:
- myymällä Ilokivi-ravintolassa kehitysyhteistyö-lounaslippuja, joiden summasta 20 senttiä ohjautuu tukemaamme projektiin
- keräämällä projektille kehitysyhteistyö-lahjoituksia, jonka opiskelijat voivat lisätä maksaessaan ylioppilaskunnan jäsenmaksua
- osallistumalla hallituksen kokouksiin ja auttamalla meitä suunnittelemaan toimintaamme
- osallistumalla tapahtumien suunnitteluun, budjetointiin ja toteutukseen

Our association works actively in cooperation with the Student Union of the University of Jyväskylä that donates most of the funds that Aurora Borealis sends to Nepal. Apart from funding our project, JYY supports us in many other ways, such as:
- by offering lunch tickets at the Ilokivi restaurant, where students can support our project by donating a small fee along with their lunch
- by directing the donations collected from the additional fee that students can add when paying for the student union membership fee
- by attending meetings with our board and helping us plan our activities
- by contributing in the development of events on planning, budgeting and realizing the events
